The Open

The 2019 Open

The Open was inaugurated in the 1-day calendar this year. The event was won by Wayne Martin who defeated Nav Hussain in a high quality final by 3-1. The final featuring breaks of 46, 44, 41, 38 by Martin and 40 by Hussain.

In the semi finals Martin overcame an inspired Cary Davies by 3 frames to 1. Hussain defeated Patrick Hort by the same scoreline.

Highest break of the day was a 60 by Nav Hussain. Special mention to Patrick Hort who made a 40 against Ben Cooper.

Many thanks to BCI Snooker Club, Bulwell, for the use of the facilities. Special thanks to Cary Davies and Toby Bowley, the guys ran a great competition. Results after the group stages (QF onwards) are given below.
