The 2019 Junior Handicap
The 2019 Junior handicap was contested in two parts, a group stage, followed by a final between the top two players. After the group matches Selina Dean topped the table, winning all her matches by score lines of 3-1 or better. An impressive feat in her first full season as an NBSA member. Second in the table was Mick Garrett, an experienced player in the NBSA leagues.
The final was contested at Arnold Civil Defence club. The match was very close coming down to the final black ball with Mick running out the winner 3-2. Very unlucky for Selina, who can be proud of her record as one of the most rapidly improving players in the NBSA, and congratulations to Mick on winning this year’s title.
